The second day of Alex and David’s wedding celebration started in the late morning in beautiful Villa Blanche, in the south part of Antibes. The boys were actually asked to go and do some shopping (or some men things), while the girls were relaxing during the getting ready time.
After the preparations, we all headed to another beautiful Villa few minutes drive away. This was where Alex and David’s had their beautiful Jewish ceremony under the Chuppah in the garden. The weather was very kind as expected from cote d’azur this time of the year. The reception full of love, smiles, hugs and champagne took place in the same garden. The afternoon was already perfect and we were all lucky with the magic hour when the sun beams were adding to the beauty of this celebration. Such a gentle touch from nature, but so romantic and beautiful at the same time. A dream of every photographer. Ah, and the party! Well, they definitely knew how to party! Just have look at how much joy and great time everyone had under the Tipi style marquee.
Wedding is always about people and love, and when you photograph the wedding of two special souls, like Alex and David you can feel it everywhere!
Let me quote the text from their Ketubah, which perfectly shows how much they love each other:
” On the fifth day of the week, the tenth day of Sivan, in the year five thousand seven hundred seventy-eight, corresponding to the twenty-fourth day of May, in the year two thousand eighteen, the holy covenant of marriage was entered in Antibes, France, between the bride Alexandra, and the groom David. In front of these witnesses, family and friends, they each voted to the other: I intend to love you, hold you, and grow very old with you. I promise to always be there when you have troubles and to know that sometimes simply letting you talk about your problems is enough. I promise to be the most dependable person in your life. I promise you that laughter will always be commonplace in our house. I promise to encourage your dreams and honour your passions. I promise to stand by your side through life’s most joyous moments and challenging ones. I promise to be kind, patient and forgiving. I promise to always remember that laughter is life’s sweetest creation and will never stop laughing with you. But most of all, I promise to be your true companion always; for one lifetime with you could never be enough. All this is valid and binding. ”
