Berkshire Wedding Photographer

Taking great pictures is vital for any wedding. While plenty of guests will be taking their own snaps of the celebrations, it’s always a good idea to have a professional on hand. As a Berkshire wedding photographer with a documentary style approach, I’m able to create an engaging pictorial commentary of one of the most important days in your life.

If you are planning to get married in Berkshire, you’ve obviously got a lot of things to arrange and choices to make. You might be celebrating locally in a town like Reading, Bracknell or Maidenhead, or you may want to marry in one of the many small villages dotted around the county like Goring, Calcot and Early. When you’re debating the choice between a registry office and a church wedding, there’s also plenty to choose from.

There are registry offices in 10 or 11 locations around the county including Bracknell, Didcot and Newbury. If you’re looking for a great backdrop to your wedding photos, picking the right location is important. Do you want something ultra-modern or with a good sense of history? Some registry offices are on high streets, others have parks and gardens surrounding them where you can take some beautiful pictures.

If you are planning a traditional church wedding, there are some historic and elegant locations all over the county. As a Berkshire wedding photographer, I get a feeling of excitement when I know I’m going to be working in an old church with lots of character. St Mary’s Church in Aldworth, for example, is one of the Berkshire’s oldest, dating back to the 14th century. All Saints Church in Bisham is even older, built in the 12th century.

Many people opt for an all in one package at a hotel or spa where guests can stay the night and the initial ceremony is held in a function room.
